Roots and Rescues

Friends of Willmore Park is hosting this paw-some fundraiser on Saturday, March 23, from 10a-1p in Willmore Park. We’ll be there with native trees to give away, and Stray Rescue of St. Louis will be there too, with four-legged friends who need homes! Here’s how the fundraiser will work: Volunteers will pick up trash in and around Willmore Park from 10a to 11a. For every volunteer who comes to pick up trash, event sponsors will donate $10 to Stray Rescue, up to $500. Yep — you can beautify the environment *and* help pups! What a great deal. (Plus, there will be donuts and live music.)
