Come join us in restoring riparian forest as we plant 50 native Missouri trees at the McKittrick Trailhead at Katy Trail State Park. Your efforts will be beneficial in replacing trees lost to flooding and disease and will help replenish the much-needed forest population alongside the Katy Trail.
Participants will meet at the McKittrick Trailhead to receive supplies and instructions. Volunteers are reminded to wear layers of clothing for the spring season, including comfortable/high-top hiking shoes. Restrooms are located at the trailhead.
Contact the Graham Cave State Park office by phone at 573-564-3476 for registration information. You can also register online with Better Impact by clicking here. For special needs, call the park office.
The native tree-planting project is being sponsored in partnership between Forest Releaf, Magnificent Missouri and Missouri State Parks.
