ArborMeisters 2020 – At Home Tree Planting Edition!

October 3, 2020

Join the Forest ReLeaf for our 7th Annual and First Ever Virtual Arbormeisters Festival! We are bringing trees and beer to your backyard!

Hello Fellow Tree and Beer Lovers!

One of our favorite annual events to host has been our Annual Arbormeisters Festival. It has created a place for us all to come together and celebrate something we are all very passionate about. Planting trees and sharing a few beverages to celebrate the good work we do!

Given COVID-19, we will be unable to host our event at the Nursery this year, BUT we have another way to celebrate and plant some trees, all while respecting social distancing.

Introducing Virtual Arbormeisters Festival At Home Tree Planting Edition! From our Nursery to your Backyard!

How to Participate:

  • Get your tickets!
  • On October 2 or 3, pick up your tree, beer, and festival supplies at the Forest ReLeaf tree nursery in Creve Coeur Park.
  • Plant a tree with us! After picking up your tree*, gather your kids, family, friends (even your pets!) to plant.
  • Show off your new tree by posting photos with #Arbormeisters
  • On October 3, tune in at 5 p.m. for a special online presentation, hosted by the crew at Forest ReLeaf of Missouri.

*If you’d like us to deliver your tree, beers, and festival supplies to your doorstep, you can add that option for a small additional fee when you purchase your tickets.

What if I don’t have a spot to plant my tree?

You can donate your tree to a planting project at North Riverview Park on October 3, hosted by Forest ReLeaf’s Young Friends committee. North Riverview Park is where a tree planting took place 30 years ago that inspired the creation of Forest ReLeaf of Missouri.

What’s included with my ticket?

  • A tree of your choice
  • Generously donated beverages from Schlafly, 4 Hands Brewing Co, Urban Chestnut, ThirdWheel Brewing, and O’Fallon Brewery
  • Other surprise supplies from Forest ReLeaf!

We’re looking forward to gathering virtually on October 3 at 5 p.m., for an online celebration of trees, forests, and the people who bring the Forest ReLeaf of Missouri mission to life!

Finance & Operations Director

After 17 years in the non-profit and public sector, Jess remains committed to mission-driven work that tackles the challenges facing our communities. Their career began with a year of service as an Americorps St. Louis Emergency Response team member, responding to natural disasters and performing conservation projects. That foundation of service led to roles supporting the arts, affordable housing, mental health, and grassroots housing advocacy in St. Louis. During this journey Jess has worked to center the value “nothing about us, without us.” They do their best to ensure that the voices of people who have been marginalized guide the strategy and execution of work that honors their lived experiences. When they aren’t working, Jess is out paddling, hiking, working in their garden, or building something.
