Forest ReLeaf of Missouri’s TreeKeepers classes, sponsored in part by the Missouri Department of Conservation, are held each year in late spring/early summer.
This free, six week course educates citizens about trees, their benefits and care, and provides practical, hands-on learning in six key areas: identification, biology, soils, planting, pruning, and insects and diseases. No prior experience required. Graduates are asked to provide 24 hours of volunteer service to Forest ReLeaf or in forestry-related projects in their community.
The 2020 course will take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00pm, beginning on March 3rd and ending on April 7th. The courses will be held at Urban Chestnut in the Grove.
