March 3 @ 6:00 pm - April 7 @ 8:00 pm
Forest ReLeaf of Missouri’s TreeKeepers classes, sponsored in part by the Missouri Department of Conservation, are held each year in late spring/early summer.
This free, six week course educates citizens about trees, their benefits and care, and provides practical, hands-on learning in six key areas: identification, biology, soils, planting, pruning, and insects and diseases. No prior experience required. Graduates are asked to provide 24 hours of volunteer service to Forest ReLeaf or in forestry-related projects in their community.
The remaining spring TreeKeeper Classes have been moved from the great physical classroom at Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery to an ONLINE webinar platform. We will be partnering with University of Missouri Extension to deliver the new digital TreeKeeper program starting March 24, complete with live discussion and valuable Q&A. This change will allow more people across the state to participate in individual TreeKeeper sessions.
The course will take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00pm ending on April 7th.
